Infrared receiver designed for those who have telecoils on their
hearing aids.
Connect the transmitter to the TV using audio cables or use the external
microphone next to the TV speaker. Sound is transmitted via infrared beam to the
receiver. Hang the receiver around your neck - the lanyard is an induction
neckloop which will transmit the sound to the t-coils in your hearing aids. The
sound on the TV can be turned as low as you wish. The volume for the listener is
controlled on the receiver. Uses one rechargeable battery. One extra battery is
included and can be charged in a slot on the transmitter. When the receiver is
placed in the cradle on the transmitter, the battery in the receiver is charged.
Battery life on a full charge is approximately 8-10 hours.
