The Quattro 4.0 is a powerful amplified Bluetooth accessibility device perfect for hearing aid and cochlear users as well as those without hearing aids. The 2 inch diameter receiver hangs around your neck on a powerful induction neckloop. The amplifier, removeable Bluetooth microphone and optional earbuds offer maximum flexibility for hearing loss and difficult listening environments.
Bluetooth Receiver -
The Quattro 4.0 will connect with the stereo Bluetooth output of any device using the A2DP headset profile - such as your mobile phone, iPod or other MP3 player, computer, or other Bluetooth enabled audio device. You can use the QLink Bluetooth Transmitter with any audio device with a headset jack to pair that device with the Quattro 4.0 receiver. Up to two Bluetooth devices can be paired with the Quattro 4.0 at once. Watch TV or listen to music, and be alerted when a phone call comes in. The sound of the music or TV will mute and allow you to answer the call, then resume when the call is ended.
The Quattro 4.0 has an 8-wire material neckloop allowing hearing aid or cochlear telecoil users to connect directly to their hearing device in the "T" mode. If the user does not have telecoils, there is a 3.5mm jack for an optional stereo headset or earphones.
Personal Communication Device -
With the Quattro 4.0's microphone in place on the neckloop unit, it can act as a personal amplifier by picking up the environmental sounds - conversation, etc. - and amplifying them for better listening. By detaching the microphone and giving it to another person, that person's voice can be transmitted to the Quattro 4.0 receiver (up to 30 feet) and amplified for the Quattro user. By using two Quattro 4.0s and exchanging microphones, two people can use the Quattros like a walkie-talkie to communicate with one another.
